Geoff Skinsgley has been appointed to the new position of managing director of the Africa and Middle East zone. He formerly held the position of managing director of human resources at L’Oréal and has been with the firm since 1986. He has served as head of several of the group’s businesses and countries, including the UK, India and the Netherlands.

Jerome Tixier succeeds Skinsgley as managing director, human resources. Tixier, who has been with L’Oréal since 1980, has held a variety of roles and was most recently adviser to the chairman, charged with linking with L’Oréal’s board on human resource and governance issues. Tixier will now handle both roles.
